Is it possible to become an investment banker with a criminal history?

I am 24 years old. When I was 19 I made some poor decisions, which landed me a conviction of a misdemeanor and deferred adjudication of 2 felonies (was not convicted). I have been able to secure professional employment since then and have ad no violations since then. Is there a way to pursue a career as an investment banker with my history?

that could depend on the employer you are applying for. If it is dealing with money most likely it will be a problem. Meaning if your offense dealt with tracking, imbesslement, fraud or anything like that. But that still depends of what banker, and/or company you are applying to. And plus many places don’t go past 5 years, some 7 years and some 10 years. It gets really expensive to research beyond the criteria they have set, thus it’s good to honest anyway.
