Make sure you know what options, futures and swaps are. Also know delta, gamma, vega and theta. You'll need to go through a recruitment firm I'm sure. When you finally do get an interview, if it's for developing trading software, emphasize any real-time systems you may have worked on in the past. Also your ability to work under pressure, on shorter term projects, and abilities to deal with difficult users. Express an interest in finance.
